Article 100-2 · Investigation of the Status of Accidents第百条の二（災害状況の調査）
- AddedArticle 100-2, paragraph (1)
In order to promote measures that contribute to the prevention of industrial injuries, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may conduct an investigation into information concerning the situation surrounding the occurrence of accidents in which persons engaged in work were injured, contracted a disease, or died due to their work, and into other necessary matters.
厚生労働大臣は、労働災害の防止に資する施策を推進するため、業務に起因して作業従事者が負傷し、疾病にかかり、又は死亡した災害の発生状況に係る情報その他の必要な事項について調査を行うことができる。

When it is necessary to do so for the investigation referred to in the preceding paragraph, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may have persons conducting a business and persons engaged in work report the necessary particulars, pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
厚生労働大臣は、前項の調査のために必要なときは、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、事業を行う者及び作業従事者に対し、必要な事項を報告させることができる。

The authority of the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare referred to in the preceding paragraph may be delegated to the Director of the Prefectural Labour Bureau, pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の厚生労働大臣の権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、都道府県労働局長に委任することができる。

The authority delegated to the Director of the Prefectural Labour Bureau pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be delegated to the Chief of the Labour Standard Inspection Offices, pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
前項の規定により都道府県労働局長に委任された権限は、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、労働基準監督署長に委任することができる。
