①A person who harbors or enables foreign nationals who fall under Article 24, item (i) or item (ii) to escape for the purpose of allowing them to avoid deportation, is punished with imprisonment for not more than 3 years or a fine not exceeding 3 million yen.

②If a person commits the crime set forth in the preceding paragraph for the purpose of profit, the person is punished with imprisonment for not more than 5 years and a fine not exceeding 5 million yen.

③An attempt to commit the crime referred to in the preceding two paragraphs is punishable.
