Article 23Procedures Where an Application under Article 28, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act Is Made, etc.
第二十三条（改正法附則第二十八条第三項の申請があった場合等の手続）
When an application under Article 28, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act has been made, the mayor of the municipality is to, as provided by Ministry of Justice Order, make copies of the documents presented by the special permanent resident upon making the application and send the copies to the Commissioner of the Immigration Services Agency.
市町村の長は、改正法附則第二十八条第三項の規定による申請があったときは、法務省令で定めるところにより、当該申請に当たって特別永住者から提示された書類の写しを作成し、当該写しを出入国在留管理庁長官に送付するものとする。
The provisions of Article 1 of the Order for Enforcement of the Special Act apply mutatis mutandis to the case where a special permanent resident certificate is issued pursuant to Article 28, paragraph (4) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act, and the provisions of Article 2 of the Order for Enforcement of the Special Act apply mutatis mutandis to the case where a special permanent resident certificate has been issued pursuant to that paragraph, respectively.
