Old-age benefits are paid as pensions.

If the corporate-type pension plan rules provide that all or part of old-age benefits may be paid in lump sum, old-age benefits may be paid in lump sum pursuant to the provisions of the corporate-type pension plan rules, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
