An expression of the intention to re-enter Japan as prescribed in Article 26-2, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control Act as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 23, paragraph (2) of the Act is to be made by submitting a document pursuant to the Appended Form 37-19 of the Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (Ministry of Justice Order No. 54 of 1981) stating that the person has the intention to re-enter Japan and presenting their special permanent resident certificate, to an immigration inspector.
法第二十三条第二項において準用する入管法第二十六条の二第一項に規定する再び入国する意図の表明は、入国審査官に再び入国する意図を有する旨の記載をした出入国管理及び難民認定法施行規則（昭和五十六年法務省令第五十四号）別記第三十七号の十九様式による書面の提出及び特別永住者証明書の提示によって行うものとする。
