Except for the matters provided for in the following paragraph and Article 8, the provisions of the following Chapter through Chapter VII and the provisions of Chapters IX and X apply to the case in which the place of arbitration is in Japan.

The provisions of Article 14, paragraph (1) and Article 15 apply to the case in which the place of arbitration is in or outside Japan, or has yet to be determined.
The provisions of Chapter VIII apply to the case in which the place of arbitration is in or outside Japan.
第八章の規定は、仲裁地が日本国内にある場合及び仲裁地が日本国外にある場合に適用する。
