Article 55-2Special Provisions for Persons Covered by the Provisions of Article 116-2 of the National Health Insurance Act
第五十五条の二（国民健康保険法第百十六条の二の規定の適用を受ける者の特例）
When an insured of National Health Insurance to whom Article 116-2, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the National Health Insurance Act apply, and who has an address within the area of an Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older other than the Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older to which the municipality in which the insured is deemed to have an address pursuant to those provisions (hereinafter in this paragraph referred to as the "municipality of the previous domicile") belongs (in the case of item (ii), limited to a person who is 65 years of age or older and less than 75 years of age), comes to fall under any of the following items, the person is, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 50, to be an insured for old-old medical care provided by the Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older to which the municipality of the previous domicile belongs (referred to as the "Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older of the previous domicile" in item (ii) and the following paragraph). In this case, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 52, the insured acquires the qualification from the day on which the insured comes to fall under any of those items.
国民健康保険法第百十六条の二第一項及び第二項の規定の適用を受ける国民健康保険の被保険者であつて、これらの規定により住所を有するものとみなされた市町村（以下この項において「従前住所地市町村」という。）の加入する後期高齢者医療広域連合以外の後期高齢者医療広域連合の区域内に住所を有する者（第二号の場合においては、六十五歳以上七十五歳未満の者に限る。）が、次の各号のいずれかに該当するに至つた場合は、第五十条の規定にかかわらず、従前住所地市町村の加入する後期高齢者医療広域連合（第二号及び次項において「従前住所地後期高齢者医療広域連合」という。）が行う後期高齢者医療の被保険者とする。この場合において、当該被保険者は、第五十二条の規定にかかわらず、当該各号のいずれかに該当するに至つた日から、その資格を取得する。
when the person has reached 75 years of age;
七十五歳に達したとき。
if the person has been certified by the Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older of the previous domicile as having a disability of a degree of severity specified by Cabinet Order as referred to in Article 50, item (ii), pursuant to the provisions of Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、第五十条第二号の政令で定める程度の障害の状態にある旨の従前住所地後期高齢者医療広域連合の認定を受けたとき。
The provisions of the preceding Article apply mutatis mutandis to a person who is deemed to be an insured for Old-Old Healthcare provided by the Association of Medical Care Systems for the Elderly Aged 75 and older of the Previous Domicile pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph. In this case, the necessary technical replacement of terms is specified by Cabinet Order.
前条の規定は、前項の規定により従前住所地後期高齢者医療広域連合が行う後期高齢者医療の被保険者とされる者について準用する。この場合において、必要な技術的読替えは、政令で定める。
