①If the mayor of the municipality finds it necessary, the mayor may order an eligible recipient to submit documents concerning matters relating to the presence or absence of eligibility, the amount of child allowance, and the category of employee or person who is not an employee, etc., or have the relevant official question the eligible recipient or other persons concerned about those matters.

②The relevant official who asks questions under the preceding paragraph must carry an identification card showing the official's status and must present it when requested by the persons concerned.
