Any merger of a Society must be subject to a resolution to such effect at a Society meeting.
組合は、合併しようとする場合においては、組合会においてその旨を議決しなければならない。
In cases where Societies have merged together, the Society newly incorporated through the merger or the Society surviving the merger shall succeed to the rights and obligations of the Society or Societies extinguished through said merger (including the rights and obligations which said Society or Societies have in relation to their respective national health insurance services based on the permission, license, approval or any other disposition by an administrative agency).
組合が合併した場合においては、合併により新たに設立された組合又は合併後存続する組合は、合併により消滅した組合の権利義務（その組合が、国民健康保険事業に関し、行政庁の許可、認可その他の処分に基いて有する権利義務を含む。）を承継する。
