If a person has had a certificate of automobile liability insurance, a certificate of mutual automobile liability insurance, an insurance sticker, a mutual insurance sticker, or an insurance/mutual insurance exemption sticker issued or reissued by deception or other wrongful means, the person who committed the violation is subject to imprisonment for not more than six months or a fine of not more than 200,000 yen.
偽りその他不正の手段により、自動車損害賠償責任保険証明書若しくは自動車損害賠償責任共済証明書又は保険標章、共済標章若しくは保険・共済除外標章の交付又は再交付を受けたときは、その違反行為をした者は、六月以下の拘禁刑又は二十万円以下の罰金に処する。
