Supplementary Provisions, Article 10Preparations Prior to Enforcement Concerning the Benefit for Employment and Self-Support

第十条（就労自立給付金に係る施行前の準備）

A prefectural governor, a municipal mayor and the mayor of a town or village who manages a welfare office may, even before the Effective Date, carry out the preparatory acts necessary for the payment of the benefit for employment and self-support under Article 55-4 of the Public Assistance Act as Amended in 2014.

都道府県知事、市長及び福祉事務所を管理する町村長は、施行日前においても、平成二十六年改正後生活保護法第五十五条の四の規定による就労自立給付金の支給に必要な準備行為をすることができる。

A welfare office (福祉に関する事務所) under the Social Welfare Act, which a prefecture or city must, and a town or village may, set up by ordinance (条例) to handle measures under the welfare laws.
