Supplementary Provisions, Article 3

①If a capital transaction (meaning a capital transaction prescribed in Article 20 of the Former Act; the same applies hereinafter) for which permission was obtained under the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (1) of the Former Act, under the provisions of an order based on the provisions of paragraph (2) of that Article or Article 24, paragraph (1) of the Former Act, or under the provisions of Article 25, paragraph (3) of the Former Act, or a transaction prescribed in that paragraph, falls under those on which the obligation to obtain permission is imposed under the provisions of an order based on the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (1) or (2), Article 24, paragraph (1) or (2), or Article 25, paragraph (4) of the New Act, that capital transaction or that transaction is, except for what is specified by Cabinet Order, deemed to have been permitted under the corresponding provisions of those orders.

②If a capital transaction, or a transaction prescribed in Article 25, paragraph (3) of the Former Act, pertaining to an application for permission under the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (1) of the Former Act, under the provisions of an order based on the provisions of paragraph (2) of that Article or Article 24, paragraph (1) of the Former Act, or under the provisions of Article 25, paragraph (3) of the Former Act, which has actually been filed as of the time this Act comes into effect, falls under those on which the obligation to obtain permission is imposed under the provisions of an order based on the provisions of Article 21, paragraph (1) or (2), Article 24, paragraph (1) or (2), or Article 25, paragraph (4) of the New Act, the provisions of the New Act apply to that application, deeming it to be an application for permission filed under the corresponding provisions of those orders.
