Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding one year from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provision amending the table of contents, the provisions making Article 69-7 into Article 69-8, Article 69-6 into Article 69-7, in Chapter VIII, Article 69-5 into Article 69-6 and Article 69-4 into Article 69-5, and adding one Article after Article 69-3 (excluding the portion pertaining to Article 69-4, item (iii)), and the provision amending Article 72 (limited to the portion pertaining to paragraph (1), items (i) through (iii) and paragraph (2) of that Article), and the provisions of Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provision in Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions amending Article 12, paragraph (1), item (vi) of the Act on Welfare and Management of Animals (Act No. 105 of 1973) (excluding the portion replacing "Article 70, paragraph (1), item (xxxvi)" with "Article 70, paragraph (1), item (xlii)"), and the provisions of Articles 6 and 7 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、目次の改正規定、第六十九条の七を第六十九条の八とし、第六十九条の六を第六十九条の七とし、第八章中第六十九条の五を第六十九条の六とし、第六十九条の四を第六十九条の五とし、第六十九条の三の次に一条を加える改正規定（第六十九条の四第三号に係る部分を除く。）及び第七十二条の改正規定（同条第一項第一号から第三号まで及び第二項に係る部分に限る。）並びに附則第四条の規定、附則第五条中動物の愛護及び管理に関する法律（昭和四十八年法律第百五号）第十二条第一項第六号の改正規定（「第七十条第一項第三十六号」を「第七十条第一項第四十二号」に改める部分を除く。）並びに附則第六条及び第七条の規定は、公布の日から施行する。

第四条（関係行政機関の長の意見の求めに関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 69-4, items (i) and (ii) of the New Act during the period from the date of enforcement of the provisions prescribed in the proviso to Article 1 of the Supplementary Provisions until the day before the Effective Date, the phrase "Article 27, paragraph (3) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 27-4, paragraph (2))" in Article 69-4, item (i) of the New Act is deemed to be replaced with "Article 27, paragraph (3)" and the phrase "Article 27, paragraph (1)" is deemed to be replaced with "paragraph (1) of that Article", and the phrase "Article 28, paragraph (3) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 28-4, paragraph (2))" in item (ii) of Article 69-4 of the New Act is deemed to be replaced with "Article 28, paragraph (3)" and the phrase "Article 28, paragraph (1)" is deemed to be replaced with "paragraph (1) of that Article".
附則第一条ただし書に規定する規定の施行の日から施行日の前日までの間における新法第六十九条の四第一号及び第二号の規定の適用については、同条第一号中「（第二十七条の四第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の」とあるのは「の」と、「第二十七条第一項」とあるのは「同条第一項」と、同条第二号中「（第二十八条の四第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の」とあるのは「の」と、「第二十八条第一項」とあるのは「同条第一項」とする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Delegation to Cabinet Order
第七条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in Articles 2 through 4 of the Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
附則第二条から第四条までに定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
