This Act comes into effect as of October 1, 1988; provided, however, that the provisions of paragraph (2) of the following Article and Article 7 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the date of promulgation.

①A disposition or other act made before this Act comes into effect by the Central Labour Relations Commission or the National Enterprise Labor Relations Commission pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Union Act, the Labor Relations Adjustment Act or the National Enterprise Labor Relations Act prior to the amendment by this Act is, except where otherwise specified by Cabinet Order, deemed to be a disposition or other act made by the Central Labour Relations Commission pursuant to the corresponding provisions of those Acts as amended by this Act.

②An application or other procedure that, at the time this Act comes into effect, has actually been made to the Central Labour Relations Commission or the National Enterprise Labor Relations Commission pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Union Act, the Labor Relations Adjustment Act or the National Enterprise Labor Relations Act prior to the amendment by this Act is, except where otherwise specified by Cabinet Order, deemed to be a procedure made to the Central Labour Relations Commission pursuant to the corresponding provisions of those Acts as amended by this Act.

Beyond what is provided for in Articles 2 through the preceding Article of the Supplementary Provisions, the transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
