障害者（しょうがいしゃ）

A person who, because of a physical, intellectual or mental impairment (including a developmental disability (発達障害)) or another impairment of physical or mental functions, faces considerable limits in working life over a long period, or great difficulty in having a working life at all.

新生命保険契約等（しんせいめいほけんけいやくとう）

信用農水産業協同組合連合会（しんようのうすいさんぎょうきょうどうくみあいれんごうかい）

In Article 18-4, paragraph (3), items (ii) and (v)(a), a credit federation of agricultural cooperatives, of fishery cooperatives or of fishery processing cooperatives, each a member of the Norinchukin Bank (農林中央金庫), as Article 2, paragraph (2) of the Act on Enhancement and Restructuring of Credit Business Conducted by The Norinchukin Bank and Specified Agricultural and Fishery Cooperative Savings Insurance Cooperation, etc. (Act No. 118 of 1996) defines it.

資源開発事業法人（しげんかいはつじぎょうほうじん）

In Article 55, paragraph (1), a corporation whose current business is limited to exploring for, developing or extracting resources — petroleum (including combustible natural gas) and metallic minerals — outside Japan (including processing of the products that a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies), businesses incidental to those, and such businesses in Japan relating to petroleum (資源開発事業等), state-owned corporations aside, together with a state-owned corporation that carries on such businesses.

保護命令（ほごめいれい）

Any of the court orders this Act provides to protect a victim (被害者): the stay-away order (接近禁止命令) under Article 10, paragraph (1), the orders under Article 10, paragraphs (2) to (4), and the eviction order (退去等命令) under Article 10-2.

違法駐車と認められる場合（いほうちゅうしゃとみとめられるばあい）

The cases in which a vehicle is found to be parked in breach of the parking rules Article 51, paragraph (1) lists, or is parked without a displayed parking ticket in a time-restricted parking zone (時間制限駐車区間) with a ticket machine, in breach of Article 49-3, paragraph (4).

有価証券表示権利（ゆうかしょうけんひょうじけんり）

In Article 8-2, paragraph (16), designated preventive long-term care services (指定介護予防サービス) and designated community-based services for preventive long-term care (指定地域密着型介護予防サービス), preventive services or equivalent services for which special allowances are paid, specified comprehensive preventive and daily-life support projects (特定介護予防・日常生活支援総合事業) run by a municipality, a designated provider or an entrusted party, and other health, medical or welfare services that help prevent the need for long-term care, which preventive long-term care support (介護予防支援) helps a person requiring support living at home to use properly.

特定労務管理対象機関（とくていろうむかんりたいしょうきかん）

Specified regional medical care providers (特定地域医療提供機関), coordinated specified regional medical care providers (連携型特定地域医療提供機関), intensive skill improvement training institutions (技能向上集中研修機関) and specified advanced skill training institutions (特定高度技能研修機関): hospitals and clinics a prefectural governor designates under the supplementary provisions (附則) because their doctors unavoidably work long hours, whose administrators must carry out their plans for shortening doctors' working hours.
