改正前の昭和五十一年改正法（かいせいまえのしょうわごじゅういちねんかいせいほう）

In Article 30 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 15 of 1979, the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 5 of 1976) as it stood before Article 27 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

改正後の昭和五十二年改正法（かいせいごのしょうわごじゅうにねんかいせいほう）

In Article 31 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 15 of 1979, the 1977 Act partially amending this Act and the law on the National Tax Revenue Clearing Fund (租税特別措置法及び国税収納金整理資金に関する法律の一部を改正する法律) as amended by Article 28 of those supplementary provisions.

改正前の第八号に掲げる場合（かいせいまえのだいはちごうにかかげるばあい）

The case where land, etc. (土地等) an individual owns is bought for a land development project for businesses that help upgrade the structure of small and medium-sized enterprises, as referred to in Article 20, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the former law on the small and medium enterprise promotion corporation (旧中小企業振興事業団法), that a prefectural governor designated under Article 34-2, paragraph (2), item (viii) of this Act as it stood before Article 28 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 53 of 1980 amended it.

改正後の昭和五十九年改正法（かいせいごのしょうわごじゅうきゅうねんかいせいほう）

In Article 23 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 13 of 1986, the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 6 of 1984) as amended by Article 22 of those supplementary provisions.

改正後の昭和六十一年改正法（かいせいごのしょうわろくじゅういちねんかいせいほう）

The Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 13 of 1986) as amended by the later Act whose supplementary provisions (附則) use the term: by Article 15 of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 14 of 1987, or by Article 20 of those of Act No. 4 of 1988.

改正後の昭和六十三年改正法（かいせいごのしょうわろくじゅうさんねんかいせいほう）

In Article 29 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 13 of 1990, the 1988 Act partially amending this Act (租税特別措置法の一部を改正する法律) as amended by Article 28 of those supplementary provisions.

平成十八年証券取引法改正法（へいせいじゅうはちねんしょうけんとりひきほうかいせいほう）

Short name, in Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 97 of 2004, for the 2006 Act (Act No. 65 of 2006) that amended this Act, which then bore an earlier title, and other laws.

平均一人当たり老人医療費額（へいきんひとりあたりろうじんいりょうひがく）

In Article 5, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 106 of 1986, the average, across all insurers, of the cost of medical care from that Act's effective date (施行日以後医療費額) per participant aged 70 or over, etc. (七十歳以上の加入者等), as a Ministry of Health and Welfare Order (厚生省令) calculates it; where an insurer's own figure, divided by this average, exceeds a rate a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, the part of its expenses above this average times that rate is its medical expenses excluded from adjustment (調整対象外医療費額) in working out its final medical expense contribution (確定医療費拠出金) for fiscal 1986.

前期調整後老人医療費見込額（ぜんきちょうせいごろうじんいりょうひみこみがく）

In Article 16, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 2002, the sum of an insurer's estimated elderly medical expenses for the earlier period (前期老人医療費見込額) less its estimated medical expenses excluded from adjustment (前期調整対象外医療費見込額), multiplied by its estimated participant adjustment rate for the earlier period (前期概算加入者調整率), and those excluded expenses themselves; the insurer's pre-adjustment estimated medical expense contribution equivalent for the earlier period (前期負担調整前概算医療費拠出金相当額) is worked out from it.

後期調整後老人医療費見込額（こうきちょうせいごろうじんいりょうひみこみがく）

In Article 16, paragraph (8) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 2002, the sum of an insurer's estimated elderly medical expenses for the later period (後期老人医療費見込額) less its estimated medical expenses excluded from adjustment (後期調整対象外医療費見込額), multiplied by its estimated participant adjustment rate for the later period (後期概算加入者調整率), and those excluded expenses themselves; the insurer's pre-adjustment estimated medical expense contribution equivalent for the later period (後期負担調整前概算医療費拠出金相当額) is worked out from it.

医療機関勤務環境評価センター（いりょうきかんきんむかんきょうひょうかせんたー）

A general incorporated association or foundation that the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare designates under Article 130, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) to evaluate, at an administrator's request, what hospitals and clinics do to shorten the working hours of doctors who work long hours, advise and guide them on it, and do other work to promote shorter hours.

第三種被保険者等であつた期間（だいさんしゅひほけんしゃとうであつたきかん）

In Article 52 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, time as a class 3 insured person, etc. (第三種被保険者等) as referred to in Article 47, paragraph (4) of those supplementary provisions, whose insured period before 1 April 1991 is counted at six-fifths; its average standardized monthly amount of remuneration (平均標準報酬月額) is taken separately when a pension's amount is worked out.

基礎年金を受給する者の調整額（きそねんきんをじゅきゅうするもののちょうせいがく）

In Article 26, paragraphs (3) and (6) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 95 of 1994, for a beneficiary of the employees' old-age pension referred to in paragraph (1) of that Article who was born on or after 2 April 1941 and can receive an old-age basic pension (老齢基礎年金) under the National Pension Act: twelve times the amount fixed under the items of paragraph (1) of that Article, reduced where the payment limit (支給限度額) would be exceeded, which is added to the standard amount for a payment suspension (with the amount Article 24, paragraph (4) of those supplementary provisions refers to) to give how much of the pension is suspended in a month in which the insured beneficiary can receive the basic continuous employment benefit for the elderly (高年齢雇用継続基本給付金).

保険料納付済期間等を有する者（ほけんりょうのうふずみきかんとうをゆうするもの）

In Article 9, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of this Act and Article 12, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 34 of 1985, a person who has a premium-paid period (保険料納付済期間) or a premium exemption period (保険料免除期間) other than one for the student payment special rule (Article 90-3).

平成二十四年改正前国民年金法（へいせいにじゅうよねんかいせいまえこくみんねんきんほう）

In Article 12, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 64 of 2014, this Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 62 of 2012 amended it.

第三号改正前組織的犯罪処罰法（だいさんごうかいせいまえそしきてきはんざいしょばつほう）

In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 39 of 2025, the Act on Punishment of Organized Crimes and Control of Proceeds of Crime (組織的犯罪処罰法, Act No. 136 of 1999) as it stood before the amendments Article 23 of that Act made to it that come into effect on the date set in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions.

貯蓄取扱機関等の営業所の長等（ちょちくとりあつかいきかんとうのえいぎょうしょのちょうとう）

In Article 87, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Ministry of Finance Order No. 53 of 2014, any of the persons to whom Articles 49 and 54 to 59 of those supplementary provisions say an individual number (個人番号) is to be notified: the head of the business office of a savings institution (貯蓄取扱機関等の営業所の長), the payer of the consideration for a transfer of shares and similar securities, the deliverer of money delivered and of redemption money, the payer of the consideration for a transfer of trust beneficial interests, a commodity derivatives business operator or similar person (商品先物取引業者等), and the payer of the consideration for a transfer of gold bullion and similar items (金地金等).

改正前の第十二号に掲げる場合（かいせいまえのだいじゅうにごうにかかげるばあい）

The case where land, etc. (土地等) an individual owns is bought for a land development project for businesses that help upgrade the structure of small and medium-sized enterprises, as referred to in Article 21, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the former law on the small and medium enterprise corporation (旧中小企業事業団法), that a prefectural governor designated under Article 34-2, paragraph (2), item (xii) of this Act as it stood before Article 49 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 19 of 1999 amended it.

信託契約みなし登録第二種業者（しんたくけいやくみなしとうろくだいにしゅぎょうしゃ）

In Article 12, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 50 of 2020, a deemed registered type II service provider (みなし登録第二種業者) that held approval under Article 45, paragraph (1) of the Payment Services Act as it stood before that Act, and is therefore deemed to have notified a trust agreement for security deposits (履行保証金信託契約) under Article 45, paragraph (1) as amended on the day the provisions in Article 1, item (ii) of those supplementary provisions came into effect.

旧平成十八年証券取引法改正法（きゅうへいせいじゅうはちねんしょうけんとりひきほうかいせいほう）

In Article 3, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 32 of 2015, Act No. 65 of 2006, which partially amended this Act and other Acts, as it stood before Article 10 of those supplementary provisions amended it.
