特区地方公共団体
In row 7-3 of Appended Table 3 and row 4-3 of Appended Table 4, the prefecture with jurisdiction over an area that was a project implementation area (事業実施区域) under Article 12-5, paragraph (3) of the law on National Strategic Special Zones (国家戦略特別区域法) as it stood before the Act Partially Amending the Child Welfare Act, etc. (Act No. 29 of 2025) amended it — or, where paragraph (12) of that Article applied, the designated city (指定都市) holding the exam — whose head may hold the exam for nursery teachers limited to a National Strategic Special Zone (国家戦略特別区域限定保育士試験) under the former rules until 31 March 2026, as Article 14 of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) defines it.
寄附金税額控除額
The amount to be deducted from the prefectural inhabitant tax (道府県民税) under Article 37-2, paragraph 1 (as it concerns item 1) and paragraph 11 for specified deduction donations (特例控除対象寄附金) of Article 37-2, paragraph 2.
特定市の区域
In Article 31-4 of the supplementary provisions (附則), the special-ward area of Tokyo Metropolis (都), the area of a designated city (指定都市) in the National Capital Region (首都圏), Kinki Region (近畿圏) or Chubu Region (中部圏) as defined in the Metropolitan Area Readjustment Act, the Kinki Area Adjustment Act and the Chubu Area Development and Improvement Act, and the area of any other city lying wholly or partly in an existing urban area, suburban development zone, existing urban district, suburban development district or urban development district under those Acts.
管轄法務局長等
The director of the Legal Affairs Bureau (法務局) or District Legal Affairs Bureau (地方法務局) with jurisdiction over the place where the relevant city office (市役所), ward office (区役所) or town or village office (町村役場) is located.
In Article 5, paragraph (1) and Article 6, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 104 of 2013, the Act on Promotion of Wide-Area Administration in Special Districts for Consolidated Local Governments (Act No. 116 of 2006) as amended by Article 16 of those supplementary provisions.
In Article 5, paragraph (1) and Article 6, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 104 of 2013, the Act on Promotion of Wide-Area Administration in Special Districts for Consolidated Local Governments (Act No. 116 of 2006) as it stood before Article 16 of those supplementary provisions amended it.
