Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2006; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items, respectively:
この法律は、平成十八年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、それぞれ当該各号に定める日から施行する。
The provisions of Article 1, Article 5, Article 8, Article 11, Article 13 and Article 15, and of Article 4, Article 15, Article 22, Article 23, paragraph (2), Article 32, Article 39 and Article 56 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
The provisions of Article 2, Article 6 and Article 9, and of the proviso to Article 10, paragraph (1), the proviso to paragraph (2) of that Article and the proviso to Article 13 of the Supplementary Provisions: October 1, 2005;
The provisions of Article 4, and of Article 14, Article 42, Article 44 and Article 53 of the Supplementary Provisions: October 1, 2006.
