Chapter VI Penal Provisions
第六章 罰則
第三十五条
If an order under the provisions of Article 30, paragraph (2) is violated, a person who has committed said violation is subject to imprisonment for not more than one year or a fine of not more than one million yen.
第三十条第二項の規定による命令に違反した場合には、当該違反行為をした者は、一年以下の拘禁刑又は百万円以下の罰金に処する。
第三十六条
In any of the following cases, a person who has committed said violation is subject to a fine of not more than five hundred thousand yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する場合には、当該違反行為をした者は、五十万円以下の罰金に処する。
when a person fails to make a notification under the provisions of Article 21, or makes a false notification;
第二十一条の規定による届出をせず、又は虚偽の届出をしたとき。
when a person fails to make a report under the provisions of Article 29, or makes a false report.
第二十九条の規定による報告をせず、又は虚偽の報告をしたとき。
第三十七条
When a representative of a corporation, or an agent, employee or other staff member of a corporation or an individual, has committed a violation of the provisions set forth in the following items with regard to the business of the corporation or the individual, not only is the offender punished but also the corporation is punished by the fine prescribed in the relevant item, and the individual by the fine prescribed in the respective Articles:
法人の代表者又は法人若しくは人の代理人、使用人その他の従業者が、その法人又は人の業務に関し、次の各号に掲げる規定の違反行為をしたときは、行為者を罰するほか、その法人に対して当該各号に定める罰金刑を、その人に対して各本条の罰金刑を科する。
Article 35 or item (i) of the preceding Article: a fine of not more than one hundred million yen;
item (ii) of the preceding Article: the fine prescribed in that Article.
第三十八条
A person falling under any of the following items is subject to a civil fine of no more than three hundred thousand yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、三十万円以下の過料に処する。
a person who, without justifiable grounds, fails to make a report under the provisions of Article 20, paragraph (3), or makes a false report;
正当な理由がなく、第二十条第三項の規定による報告をせず、又は虚偽の報告をした者
a person who fails to make a notification under the provisions of Article 24, paragraph (3), or makes a false notification.
