A person falling under any of the following items is to be punished with imprisonment for not more than 3 years or a fine not exceeding 3 million yen, or is to be subject to the cumulative imposition of imprisonment and a fine:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、三年以下の拘禁刑若しくは三百万円以下の罰金に処し、又はこれを併科する。
a person who lands in Japan without obtaining permission for landing, etc. from an immigration inspector;
a person who lands in Japan having received permission for landing, etc. or who receives permission pursuant to the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 2 through deceit or other wrongful means;
偽りその他不正の手段により、上陸の許可等を受けて本邦に上陸し、又は第四章第二節の規定による許可を受けた者
a person whose status of residence has been revoked pursuant to the provisions of Article 22-4, paragraph (1) (limited to persons to whom item (i) or (ii) pertains) who remains in Japan;
第二十二条の四第一項（第一号又は第二号に係るものに限る。）の規定により在留資格を取り消された者で本邦に残留するもの
a person (except for persons who receive a period designation pursuant to the provisions of the main clause of paragraph (7) of the same Article) whose status of residence has been revoked pursuant to the provisions of Article 22-4, paragraph (1) (limited to those pertaining to item (v)) who remains in Japan;
第二十二条の四第一項（第五号に係るものに限る。）の規定により在留資格を取り消された者（同条第七項本文の規定により期間の指定を受けた者を除く。）で本邦に残留するもの
a person who receives a period designation pursuant to the provisions of the main clause of Article 22-4, paragraph (7) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 61-2-11, paragraph (2)) who remains in Japan beyond the period designated;
第二十二条の四第七項本文（第六十一条の二の十一第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定により期間の指定を受けた者で、当該期間を経過して本邦に残留するもの
a person who is clearly found to be engaged solely in activities related to management of business involving income or activities for which they receive remuneration in violation of the provisions of Article 19, paragraph (1);
第十九条第一項の規定に違反して収入を伴う事業を運営する活動又は報酬を受ける活動を専ら行つていると明らかに認められる者
a person who remains in Japan beyond the permitted period of stay (including the period for which a person may reside in Japan pursuant to the provisions of Article 20, paragraph (6) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 21, paragraph (4))) authorized without obtaining an extension or change of the period of stay;
a person who is granted permission for provisional landing and flees or fails to appear at summons without legitimate grounds in violation of the conditions attached pursuant to the provisions of Article 13, paragraph (3);
仮上陸の許可を受けた者で、第十三条第三項の規定に基づき付された条件に違反して、逃亡し、又は正当な理由がなくて呼出しに応じないもの
a person who is granted permission for landing at a port of call, landing permission for cruise ship tourists, permission for landing in transit, landing permission for crew members, permission for emergency landing, landing permission due to distress or landing permission for temporary refuge, who remains in Japan beyond the period entered in their passport or permit;
寄港地上陸の許可、船舶観光上陸の許可、通過上陸の許可、乗員上陸の許可、緊急上陸の許可、遭難による上陸の許可又は一時庇護のための上陸の許可を受けた者で、旅券又は当該許可書に記載された期間を経過して本邦に残留するもの
a person who is designated a period for departure pursuant to the provisions of Article 14-2, paragraph (9) and who does not depart from Japan within that period;
第十四条の二第九項の規定により期間の指定を受けた者で当該期間内に出国しないもの
a person who is designated a period for departure pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, paragraph (9), who does not return to their vessel or depart from Japan within that period;
第十六条第九項の規定により期間の指定を受けた者で当該期間内に帰船し又は出国しないもの
a person prescribed in Article 22-2, paragraph (1), who remains in Japan beyond the period prescribed in Article 22-2, paragraph (1), without receiving permission pursuant to the provisions of the main clause of Article 20, paragraph (3) as applied mutatis mutandis to Article 22-2, paragraph (3), or pursuant to the provisions of Article 22, paragraph (2), as applied mutatis mutandis to Article 22-2, paragraph (4);
第二十二条の二第一項に規定する者で、同条第三項において準用する第二十条第三項本文の規定又は第二十二条の二第四項において準用する第二十二条第二項の規定による許可を受けないで、第二十二条の二第一項に規定する期間を経過して本邦に残留するもの
a person who is issued a departure order pursuant to the provisions of Article 55-85, paragraph (1), who remains in Japan beyond the departure deadline pertaining to the departure order;
第五十五条の八十五第一項の規定により出国命令を受けた者で、当該出国命令に係る出国期限を経過して本邦に残留するもの
a person whose departure order is revoked pursuant to the provisions of Article 55-88 who remains in Japan;
第五十五条の八十八の規定により出国命令を取り消された者で本邦に残留するもの
a person who is granted permission pursuant to the provisions of Article 61-2-4, paragraph (1) who remains in Japan beyond the period of provisional stay;
第六十一条の二の四第一項の規定による許可を受けた者で、仮滞在期間を経過して本邦に残留するもの
a person who has received a decision on supervision measures prescribed in Article 44-2, paragraph (7) and who has engaged in activities for which they receive remuneration or activities related to management of business involving income without receiving permission pursuant to the provisions of Article 44-5, paragraph (1) (excluding persons residing with a status of residence);
第四十四条の二第七項に規定する監理措置決定を受けた者で、第四十四条の五第一項の規定による許可を受けないで報酬を受ける活動を行つたもの又は収入を伴う事業を運営する活動を行つたもの（在留資格をもつて在留する者を除く。）
a person who has received a decision on supervision measures prescribed in Article 52-2, paragraph (6) and who has engaged in activities related to management of business involving income or activities for which they receive remuneration;
第五十二条の二第六項に規定する監理措置決定を受けた者で、収入を伴う事業を運営する活動を行つたもの又は報酬を受ける活動を行つたもの
a person who was granted Recognition of Refugee Status or recognition as a person eligible for complementary protection due to deceit or other wrongful means; or
偽りその他不正の手段により難民の認定又は補完的保護対象者の認定を受けた者
a person subject to departure restrictions prescribed in Article 63-2, paragraph (1) who has engaged in activities related to management of business involving income or activities for which they receive remuneration.
第六十三条の二第一項に規定する出国制限対象者で、収入を伴う事業を運営する活動又は報酬を受ける活動を行つたもの
The preceding paragraph also applies to a person set forth in the item (i) or (ii) of the preceding paragraph who lands and illegally stays in Japan.
