Article 56Duty to Cooperate

第五十六条（協力の義務）

The captain of a vessel or aircraft entering Japan and the carrier who operates the vessel or aircraft must cooperate with an immigration inspector in executing their duties, such as examinations.

本邦に入る船舶等の長及びその船舶等を運航する運送業者は、入国審査官の行う審査その他の職務の遂行に協力しなければならない。
