②If a mid- to long-term resident (meaning a mid- to long-term resident prescribed in Article 19-3 of the Immigration Control Act; the same applies hereinafter) who has received a notation in a passport under the preceding paragraph has also received a seal of permission for landing in the form of Appended Form No. 7-2 of the Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation for Enforcement of the Immigration Control Act"), an immigration inspector is, in addition, to enter in that passport the number of the residence card (meaning a residence card prescribed in Article 19-3 of the Immigration Control Act; the same applies hereinafter) that is to be issued to that mid- to long-term resident.

③A residence card is to be issued to a mid- to long-term resident to whom Article 7, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act has applied after that mid- to long-term resident has made the notification under Article 19-7, paragraph (1) of the Immigration Control Act (including a notification deemed under paragraph (3) of that Article to be a notification under paragraph (1) of that Article).
