Article 70-2Responsibilities of the Administrator of a Medical Institution Providing Services Covered by Health Insurance
第七十条の二（保険医療機関の管理者の責務）
The administrator of a medical institution providing services covered by health insurance must be a person who satisfies all of the following requirements.
保険医療機関の管理者は、次に掲げる要件のいずれにも該当する者でなければならない。
the person is a physician providing health insurance treatment;
保険医であること。
the person is equipped with the requirements specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, such as the experience of having engaged in medical care as a physician providing health insurance treatment at a medical institution providing services covered by health insurance (limited to a hospital) for three years or more after completing clinical training under Article 16-2, paragraph (1) of the Medical Practitioners' Act (Act No. 201 of 1948), or the experience of having engaged in medical care as a physician providing health insurance treatment at a medical institution providing services covered by health insurance for three years or more after completing clinical training under Article 16-2, paragraph (1) of the Dental Practitioners Act (Act No. 202 of 1948).
医師法（昭和二十三年法律第二百一号）第十六条の二第一項の規定による臨床研修の修了後に保険医療機関（病院に限る。）において保険医として三年以上診療に従事した経験又は歯科医師法（昭和二十三年法律第二百二号）第十六条の二第一項の規定による臨床研修の修了後に保険医療機関において保険医として三年以上診療に従事した経験その他の厚生労働省令で定める要件を備える者であること。
In order to provide appropriate medical care efficiently, the administrator of a medical institution providing services covered by health insurance must, as specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, supervise the physicians, dentists, pharmacists and other employees working at that medical institution providing services covered by health insurance, and exercise necessary care in the management and operation of that medical institution providing services covered by health insurance.
保険医療機関の管理者は、適正な医療の効率的な提供を図るため、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、当該保険医療機関に勤務する医師、歯科医師、薬剤師その他の従業者を監督するとともに、当該保険医療機関の管理及び運営につき、必要な注意をしなければならない。
