To the extent necessary for the enforcement of the provisions of this Section, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare may order users of anonymized medical data (excluding other administrative organs of the national government; hereinafter the same applies in this paragraph and the following Article) to make a report or submit or present books and documents, or have the relevant officials question the relevant persons or enter the offices or other places of business of the users of anonymized medical data to inspect the books, documents, and any other articles of the users of anonymized medical data.
厚生労働大臣は、この節の規定の施行に必要な限度において、匿名医療保険等関連情報利用者（国の他の行政機関を除く。以下この項及び次条において同じ。）に対し報告若しくは帳簿書類の提出若しくは提示を命じ、又は当該職員に関係者に対して質問させ、若しくは匿名医療保険等関連情報利用者の事務所その他の事業所に立ち入り、匿名医療保険等関連情報利用者の帳簿書類その他の物件を検査させることができる。
When carrying out questioning or on-site inspections under the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the relevant officials must carry an identification card and present it when requested by any person concerned.
前項の規定による質問又は立入検査を行う場合においては、当該職員は、その身分を示す証明書を携帯し、かつ、関係人の請求があるときは、これを提示しなければならない。
The authority under the provisions of paragraph (1) must not be construed as being granted for the purpose of criminal investigation.
第一項の規定による権限は、犯罪捜査のために認められたものと解釈してはならない。
