With regard to an application for a demand for payment made pursuant to the provisions of Article 397, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the Code of Civil Procedure prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (referred to below as the "Former Code of Civil Procedure"), the provisions then in force continue to govern.
