Supplementary Provisions, Article 5Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Penal Code

①If the Effective Date precedes the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Penal Code, etc. (Act No. 67 of 2022) (hereinafter referred to in this Article and Article 28 of the Supplementary Provisions as the "Effective Date of the 2022 Penal Code Amendments"), with regard to the application of Article 24-6, Article 25 and Article 25-2 of the Act on Regulation of Cannabis Cultivation as Amended by Article 1 until the day preceding the Effective Date of the 2022 Penal Code Amendments, the phrase "imprisonment" in these provisions is deemed to be replaced with "imprisonment with work". The same applies to the application of these provisions on or after the Effective Date of the 2022 Penal Code Amendments to an act committed before the Effective Date of the 2022 Penal Code Amendments.
