Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures for Cannabis Cultivators, etc.

①With regard to a Cannabis Cultivator prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (2) of the Cannabis Control Act prior to amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Cannabis Control Act Prior to Amendment by Article 1") and a Cannabis Researcher prescribed in paragraph (3) of that Article, who hold a license on the day preceding the day of enforcement of this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Effective Date"), the provisions then in force continue to govern during the validity period of that license, except for Article 3 of the Cannabis Control Act Prior to Amendment by Article 1 (excluding the part relating to cultivation) and Article 4, paragraph (1), item (i) of that Act.

②With regard to a Cannabis Cultivator and a Cannabis Researcher prescribed in the preceding paragraph, during the validity period of their licenses, the provisions of Article 24, paragraph (1), Article 26, paragraphs (1) and (3), Article 28, paragraph (1), Article 32 and Article 62, paragraph (1) of the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Act as amended by the provisions of Article 3 apply by deeming that Cannabis Cultivator to be a Cannabis plant harvesting cultivator prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (4) of the Act on Regulation of Cannabis Cultivation as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Act on Regulation of Cannabis Cultivation as Amended by Article 1") and that Cannabis Researcher to be a Cannabis plant research cultivator prescribed in paragraph (5) of that Article.
