The functions that are to be processed by prefectures pursuant to the provisions of Article 9 (limited to the portion pertaining to items (iii) through (v)), Articles 11 through 12-2, Article 12-8, paragraph (3), and paragraph (1) of the preceding Article are No. 1 statutory entrusted function as provided for in Article 2, paragraph (9), item (i) of the Local Autonomy Act (Act No. 67 of 1947).
