Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 1963.
この法律は、昭和三十八年四月一日から施行する。
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the provisions of Article 17 and Articles 24 through 34 (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 36) come into effect on the date of promulgation; provided, however, that before April 1, 1963, they are to apply only to the extent necessary for preparations for the enforcement of the other provisions of this Act.
第十七条及び第二十四条から第三十四条まで（第三十六条においてこれらの規定を準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、前項の規定にかかわらず、公布の日から施行する。ただし、昭和三十八年四月一日前においては、この法律中その他の規定の施行に伴う準備のため必要な範囲内においてのみ、適用があるものとする。
