If the foreign bank with which a foreign bank branch office is affiliated falls under one of the following items, the branch office must file a notification to that effect with the Prime Minister, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Office Order:
it changes the amount of stated capital or contribution;
資本金又は出資の額を変更したとき。
it changes its trade name or the location of its head office;
商号又は本店の所在地を変更したとき。
it merges, has its business succeeded to in a company split or succeeds to a business in a company split, or, transfers or acquires all or a material part of its business (other than a business that only involves the foreign bank branch office);
合併をし、会社分割により事業を承継させ、若しくは承継し、又は事業の全部若しくは重要な一部の譲渡若しくは譲受け（当該外国銀行支店のみに係るものを除く。）をしたとき。
it is dissolved (other than a dissolution as a result of a merger) or discontinues banking;
解散（合併によるものを除く。）をし、又は銀行業の廃止をしたとき。
its banking license (including any permission, registration, or other administrative dispositions similar to the license) is revoked;
銀行業に係る免許（当該免許に類する許可、登録その他の行政処分を含む。）を取り消されたとき。
it becomes subject to an order commencing bankruptcy proceedings; or
破産手続開始の決定があつたとき。
it falls under a case specified by Cabinet Office Order.
その他内閣府令で定める場合に該当するとき。
If a foreign bank branch office falls under one of the following items, it must file a notification to that effect with the Prime Minister, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Office Order:
外国銀行支店は、次の各号のいずれかに該当するときは、内閣府令で定めるところにより、その旨を内閣総理大臣に届け出なければならない。
it seeks to change the location of the main foreign bank branch office or a secondary foreign bank branch office (excluding the case specified by Cabinet Office Order);
it seeks to make a secondary foreign bank branch office (other than a business office that is not a branch office; hereinafter the same applies in this item) the main foreign bank branch office and make the main foreign bank branch office a secondary foreign bank branch office;
it seeks to change the business year of a foreign bank branch office; or
外国銀行支店の事業年度の変更をしようとするとき。
it falls under a case specified by Cabinet Office Order.
その他内閣府令で定める場合に該当するとき。
