When the Prime Minister finds it to be necessary for ensuring the sound and appropriate management of the services of a foreign bank branch office, the Prime Minister may request a foreign bank branch office (including a bank agent that has that foreign bank branch office as its principal bank) to make a report or submit materials on the status of business or property of the foreign bank with which the foreign bank branch office is affiliated (including a person that has a unique relationship specified by Cabinet Order with that foreign bank).
