Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 20 days have elapsed from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二十日を経過した日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures
第七条（経過措置）
The provisions of Article 14 of the Act on Prohibition of Unauthorized Computer Access as amended by the provisions of Article 6 apply only to offenses which, under a treaty that comes into force for Japan on or after the effective date of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions, are to be punished even if committed outside Japan.
第六条の規定による改正後の不正アクセス行為の禁止等に関する法律第十四条の規定は、附則第一条第二号に掲げる規定の施行の日以後に日本国について効力を生ずる条約により日本国外において犯したときであっても罰すべきものとされている罪に限り、適用する。

第八条
The provisions then in force continue to govern the application of penal provisions to acts committed before the Effective Date.
施行日前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
