Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Concerning the Payment of the Employment Promotion Allowance
第三条（就業促進手当の支給に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 56-3 of the new Employment Insurance Act apply to a person who has come to fall under any of the items of paragraph (1) of that Article on or after the effective date, and with regard to the payment of the employment promotion allowance to a person who came to fall under any of the items of Article 56-3, paragraph (1) of the Employment Insurance Act prior to the amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (referred to as the "former Employment Insurance Act" in Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions) before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新雇用保険法第五十六条の三の規定は、施行日以後に同条第一項各号に該当する者となった者について適用し、施行日前に第一条の規定による改正前の雇用保険法（附則第五条第一項において「旧雇用保険法」という。）第五十六条の三第一項各号に該当する者となった者に対する就業促進手当の支給については、なお従前の例による。
