Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order, within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation; provided that the provisions of Article 80 and Section II of Chapter IX come into effect as of April 1, 1973; the part of the provisions of Article 9 of the Supplementary Provisions that adds the words "and the Industrial Safety and Health Act" under the term the "Labor Standards Act" in the table of the Central Labor Standards Council prescribed in the amended provisions of paragraph (1) of Article 13 of the Act Establishing the Ministry of Labour (Act No. 162 of 1949) come into effect as of the day of the promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月をこえない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、第八十条及び第九章第二節の規定は昭和四十八年四月一日から、附則第九条のうち労働省設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百六十二号）第十三条第一項の表中央労働基準審議会の項の改正規定中「労働基準法」の下に「及び労働安全衛生法」を加える部分は公布の日から施行する。
