Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day calculated as falling six months after the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the date set forth in each item:
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を経過した日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に掲げる日から施行する。

the provisions of Article 1 (limited to the amended provisions which add three paragraphs to Article 45 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act (limited to the parts relating to paragraph (2) of that Article); amending provisions which add three Articles after Article 57 of that Act, and amending provisions of paragraph (3) of Article 93 of that Act) come into effect as of the day specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding two years from the date of its promulgation.

Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Delegation to Cabinet Order
第二条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in the following Article, Cabinet Order prescribes the necessary transitional measures in connection with the entry into effect of this Act.
次条に定めるもののほか、この法律の施行に関して必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures for Penal Provisions
第三条（罰則に関する経過措置）
Prior laws continue to govern the applicability of penal provisions to conduct in which a person has engaged before the entry into effect of this Act.
この法律の施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
