Supplementary Provisions, Article 30Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Public Assistance Act
第三十条（生活保護法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to long-term care assistance for a person who was a public assistance recipient (meaning a public assistance recipient prescribed in Article 6, paragraph (1) of the Public Assistance Act; the same applies in the following paragraph) on the day preceding the item (iii) Effective Date (or, in the case of Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, the date specified by the Municipal Ordinance set forth in that paragraph of the Specified Municipality concerned) and who was equivalent to a person prescribed in Article 11 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern until the date specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under that Article, notwithstanding Article 15-2, paragraphs (1), (5) and (7) of the Public Assistance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 10 (referred to as the "New Public Assistance Act" in the following paragraph and the following Article).
In the case of Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, with regard to long-term care assistance for a public assistance recipient who has a place of residence (or, where there is no place of residence or it is unclear, a current location) within the district of a Specified Municipality, the provisions then in force continue to govern until the date specified by the Municipal Ordinance set forth in that paragraph of that Specified Municipality, notwithstanding Article 15-2, paragraphs (1), (5) and (7) of the New Public Assistance Act.
附則第十四条第一項の場合において特定市町村の区域内に居住地（居住地がないか、又は明らかでない場合にあっては、現在地）を有する被保護者に対する介護扶助については、当該特定市町村の同項の条例で定める日までの間は、新生活保護法第十五条の二第一項、第五項及び第七項の規定にかかわらず、なお従前の例による。
