第二条（掘削等の許可に関する経過措置）
With regard to the permission of a person that, at the time this Act comes into effect, has obtained the permission referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) or Article 8, paragraph (1) of the Hot Spring Act prior to its amendment by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the former Act"), the provisions of Article 5 of the Hot Spring Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act") (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 9, paragraph (2) of the new Act) do not apply, and the provisions of Article 5 of the former Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 8, paragraph (2) of the former Act) remain in force. In this case, the term "Article 7" in Article 29, paragraph (2) of the new Act is deemed to be replaced with "Article 5 prior to its amendment by the Act Partially Amending the Hot Spring Act (Act No. 72 of 2001) (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 8, paragraph (2) prior to its amendment by that Act), which remains in force pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions of that Act, Article 7".
この法律の施行の際現にこの法律による改正前の温泉法（以下「旧法」という。）第三条第一項又は第八条第一項の許可を受けている者に係る当該許可については、この法律による改正後の温泉法（以下「新法」という。）第五条（新法第九条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は適用せず、旧法第五条（旧法第八条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、なおその効力を有する。この場合において、新法第二十九条第二項中「第七条」とあるのは、「温泉法の一部を改正する法律（平成十三年法律第七十二号）附則第二条の規定によりなおその効力を有するものとされる同法による改正前の第五条（同法による改正前の第八条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）、第七条」とする。
