When the prefectural governor grants a license, the prefectural governor is to register it in the type 1 Cannabis plant harvesting cultivator register and issue a license certificate.
A license certificate must not be transferred or be lent to others.
免許証は、これを譲り渡し、又は貸与してはならない。
If a type 1 Cannabis plant harvesting cultivator damages or loses the license certificate, the cultivator must, within 15 days, state the reason, in case of damage, attach that license certificate and submit an application for reissuance of the license certificate to the prefectural governor.
第一種大麻草採取栽培者は、免許証を毀損し、又は亡失したときは、十五日以内に、その事由を記載し、かつ、毀損した場合には当該免許証を添えて、都道府県知事に免許証の再交付を申請しなければならない。
If a type 1 Cannabis plant harvesting cultivator, after having the license certificate reissued pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, finds the lost license certificate, the cultivator must, within 15 days, return that license certificate to the prefectural governor.

A person who has received a license must, when the validity period of that license has expired or when that license has been revoked pursuant to Article 12-6, paragraph (1), return the license certificate to the prefectural governor within 15 days.
