指定居宅サービス事業者等（していきょたくさーびすじぎょうしゃとう）

In Article 10, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 77 of 2005, the designated in-home service providers, designated in-home long-term care support providers, operators of designated facilities covered by public aid providing long-term care to the elderly, operators of designated long-term care sanatorium medical facilities (指定介護療養型医療施設) and operators of long-term care health facilities (介護老人保健施設) holding, when that Act came into effect, the designation or permission that paragraph names (other than those paragraphs (2) and (3) treat as designated under Article 42-2, paragraph (1) of the Act as amended), who are treated as holding the corresponding designation or permission under the Act as amended, unless they gave notice otherwise.

労働者派遣法等一部改正法（ろうどうしゃはけんほうとういちぶかいせいほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions of Act No. 53 of 2012, for the Act Partially Amending the Act on Securing the Proper Operation of Worker Dispatching Businesses and Improving the Working Conditions of Dispatched Workers, etc. (Act No. 27 of 2012), which amended the Act on Ensuring the Proper Operation of Worker Dispatching Services and Protecting Dispatched Workers (Act No. 88 of 1985) under its earlier title, and gave it its present title.

坑内員・船員の支給停止額（こうないいん・せんいんのしきゅうていしがく）

In Article 13-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則), where an employees' old-age pension for mine workers and mariners (坑内員・船員の老齢厚生年金) based on category I or category IV EPI insured time is suspended in full, or in full apart from its additional amount of pension, under Article 11-3 or Article 11-4, paragraphs (2) and (3) of those supplementary provisions, and its beneficiary is entitled to an old-age pension benefit for a dissolved fund (解散基金): the standard amount for a payment suspension less that pension (leaving out the amounts that Article excludes), multiplied by the ratio of the dissolved fund's substitute portion (代行部分) to the total substitute portion for mine workers and mariners (坑内員・船員の代行部分の総額) — the part of that substitute portion, up to all of it, whose payment is suspended.

新船員組合員であつた期間（しんせんいんくみあいいんであつたきかん）

In Article 52 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, time up to 31 March 1991 as a new mariner member (新船員組合員) of a mutual aid association (共済組合), as referred to in Article 5, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 82 of 1996 or Article 7, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2012, that counts as employees' pension insured time; it is one of the periods whose average standardized monthly amount of remuneration (平均標準報酬月額) is taken separately when a pension's amount is worked out.

旧船員組合員であつた期間（きゅうせんいんくみあいいんであつたきかん）

In Article 52 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, time as a former mariner member (旧船員組合員) of a mutual aid association (共済組合) before the 1985 amendments to the mutual aid association Acts came into effect, as referred to in Article 5, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 82 of 1996 or Article 7, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2012, that counts as employees' pension insured time; it is one of the periods whose average standardized monthly amount of remuneration (平均標準報酬月額) is taken separately when a pension's amount is worked out.

年金給付遅延加算金支給法（ねんきんきゅうふちえんかさんきんしきゅうほう）

Short name, in Article 17 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 64 of 2014, for the Act on Payment of Additional Amounts for Delay in Payment of Insurance Benefits under Employees' Pension Insurance and Benefits under National Pension (Act No. 37 of 2009).

軽減適用外市街化区域農地（けいげんてきようがいしがいかくいきのうち）

Urbanization area farmland (市街化区域農地) to which Article 19-3, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則), as applied by paragraph 3 of that Article, applies under its main rule (本文) but not under its proviso (ただし書).

非住宅用宅地等である部分（ひじゅうたくようたくちとうであるぶぶん）

The part of a piece of building land, etc. (宅地等) that is non-residential building land, etc. (非住宅用宅地等) as defined in Article 18-3, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Local Tax Act as amended by Act No. 3 of 2018: building land, etc. other than residential land (住宅用地).

昭和四十八年分積立限度額（しょうわよんじゅうはちねんぶんつみたてげんどがく）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 1973, the smaller of two amounts calculated for an individual's reserve for price fluctuations (価格変動準備金) under Article 19, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act — the total as at 31 December 1972, and the total as at 31 December 1973 — used as the floor of the 1973 reserve under the amended Article 19.

特別価格変動準備金の金額（とくべつかかくへんどうじゅんびきんのきんがく）

In this Article of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 1975, the part, calculated as a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies, of the reserve for price fluctuations under Article 19, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act (including as provided by Article 4, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 16 of 1973 before its amendment) that relates to item (i) of that paragraph, held by an individual on 31 December 1974.

改正後の昭和五十年改正法（かいせいごのしょうわごじゅうねんかいせいほう）

In Article 23 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 5 of 1976, the 1975 Act partially amending this Act (租税特別措置法の一部を改正する法律) as amended by Article 22 of those supplementary provisions.

旧法第三十一条の三第一項（きゅうほうだいさんじゅういちじょうのさんだいいっこう）

In Article 7, paragraph (5) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 1991, Article 31-3, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act, as paragraph (4) of that Article keeps it in force.

揮発油製造場等以外の場所（きはつゆせいぞうじょうとういがいのばしょ）

A place other than a gasoline manufacturing site or a bonded area, outside Okinawa Prefecture, where on the day Act No. 81 of 2025 came into effect a gasoline manufacturer or seller receiving the specified subsidy (特定補助金) held gasoline eligible for deduction (控除対象揮発油) for sale.

一人平均老人医療費見込額（ひとりへいきんろうじんいりょうひみこみがく）

In Article 9, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 89 of 1991, the average, across all insurers, of the estimated elderly medical expenses from that Act's effective date (施行日以後老人医療費見込額) per participant aged 70 or over, etc. (七十歳以上の加入者等), as a Ministry of Health and Welfare Order (厚生省令) calculates it; where an insurer's own figure, divided by this average, exceeds a rate a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, the part of its expenses above this average times that rate is its estimated medical expenses excluded from adjustment (施行日以後調整対象外医療費見込額) in working out its fiscal 1991 estimated medical expense contribution (概算医療費拠出金).

調整前老齢厚生年金等合計額（ちょうせいまえろうれいこうせいねんきんとうごうけいがく）

In Article 15, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2012, the sum of the amount equivalent to total monthly remuneration (総報酬月額相当額) and the base monthly amount (基本月額) under Article 11, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood when Act No. 63 of 2012 was made, as Article 15, paragraph (1) reads it, less the pre-adjustment special suspended amount (調整前特例支給停止額).

平成二十四年改正前国共済法（へいせいにじゅうよねんかいせいまえこくきょうさいほう）

The National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before Article 2 of the 2012 Pension Unification Act (平成二十四年一元化法) amended it, whose provisions on long-term benefits Article 37, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions keeps in force.

平成二十四年改正前地共済法（へいせいにじゅうよねんかいせいまえちきょうさいほう）

The Local Public Officers, etc. Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before Article 3 of the 2012 Pension Unification Act (平成二十四年一元化法) amended it, whose provisions on long-term benefits Article 61, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions keeps in force.

第三号改正前国際捜査共助法（だいさんごうかいせいまえこくさいそうさきょうじょほう）

In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 39 of 2025, the Act on International Assistance in Investigations (国際捜査共助等に関する法律, Act No. 69 of 1980) as it stood before Article 18 of that Act amended its Article 8, paragraph (2) and Article 12, the amendments that come into effect on the date set in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions.
