In this Chapter, the meanings of the terms set forth in the following items are as prescribed respectively in those items:
この章において、次の各号に掲げる用語の意義は、それぞれ当該各号に定めるところによる。
Estimated insurance premium: this means the labor insurance premiums under Article 15, paragraph (1) or (2) of the Act or the labor insurance premiums determined by the government pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (3) of that Article;
Basic amount for calculating insurance premiums: this means the total amount of wages under Article 11, paragraph (1) of the Act, the total of the amounts specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as referred to in Article 13 of the Act, the total of the amounts specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as referred to in Article 14, paragraph (1) of the Act, or the total of the amounts specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as referred to in Article 14-2, paragraph (1) of the Act (if any of these amounts includes a fraction of less than 1,000 yen, the amount after discarding the fraction); and
保険料算定基礎額 法第十一条第一項の賃金総額、法第十三条の厚生労働省令で定める額の総額、法第十四条第一項の厚生労働省令で定める額の総額又は法第十四条の二第一項の厚生労働省令で定める額の総額（これらの額に千円未満の端数があるときは、その端数を切り捨てた額）をいう。
