Supplementary Provisions, Article 5Transitional Measures Concerning Extraction of Hot Springs
第五条（温泉の採取に関する経過措置）
A person that is engaged in the extraction of hot springs from a hot spring source as a business at the time this Act comes into effect may continue to engage in the extraction of the hot springs as a business for six months counting from the day on which this Act comes into effect (hereinafter referred to as "the effective date") (or, if a disposition of non-permission is made on an application for the permission referred to in Article 14-2, paragraph (1) of the new Act within that period, until the day on which the disposition is made), notwithstanding the provisions of that paragraph. The same applies until a disposition of permission or non-permission is made on the application, if the person has applied for the permission referred to in that paragraph within that period and that period has elapsed.
この法律の施行の際現に温泉源からの温泉の採取を業として行っている者は、この法律の施行の日（以下「施行日」という。）から起算して六月間（当該期間内に新法第十四条の二第一項の許可の申請について不許可の処分があったときは、当該処分のあった日までの間）は、同項の規定にかかわらず、引き続き当該温泉の採取を業として行うことができる。その者がその期間内に同項の許可の申請をした場合において、その期間を経過したときは、その申請について許可又は不許可の処分があるまでの間も、同様とする。
