Supplementary Provisions, Article 3
第三条
The provisions of Article 7-2 of the Hot Spring Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act") (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 11, paragraph (2) of the new Act) do not apply to a person that, at the time this Act comes into effect, is drilling land with the permission referred to in Article 3, paragraph (1) of the former Act or a person that is expanding a hot spring channel with the permission referred to in Article 11, paragraph (1) of the former Act (including a person that has obtained the permission after this Act comes into effect in accordance with the provisions then in force pursuant to the provisions of the preceding Article; referred to as a "permitted driller, etc." in the following paragraph).
With regard to the application of the provisions of Article 9 of the new Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 11, paragraph (2) of the new Act) to a permitted driller, etc., the phrase "Article 4, paragraph (1), items (i) through (iii)" in Article 9, paragraph (1), item (i) of the new Act is deemed to be replaced with "Article 4, paragraph (1), item (i) or item (iii)".
許可掘削者等に対する新法第九条（新法第十一条第二項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定の適用については、新法第九条第一項第一号中「第四条第一項第一号から第三号まで」とあるのは、「第四条第一項第一号又は第三号」とする。
