When a prefectural governor finds it urgently necessary to prevent disasters caused by flammable natural gas resulting from drilling of land for the purpose of making a hot spring gush out, the governor may order the person to conduct the drilling to take necessary measures to prevent such disasters or to suspend the drilling.
都道府県知事は、温泉をゆう出させる目的で行う土地の掘削に伴い発生する可燃性天然ガスによる災害の防止上緊急の必要があると認めるときは、当該掘削を行う者に対し、可燃性天然ガスによる災害の防止上必要な措置を講ずべきこと又は掘削を停止すべきことを命ずることができる。
