The term of office of an officer is the period specified by the constitution, not exceeding three years; provided, however, that the term of office of an officer elected to fill a vacancy is the remaining term of the predecessor.
役員の任期は、三年を超えない範囲内で規約で定める期間とする。ただし、補欠の役員の任期は、前任者の残任期間とする。
Even after the expiration of their term of office, an officer continues to perform their duties until a successor officer assumes office.
