Article 10Proceedings of a Society Meeting, etc.

①A society meeting has a chairperson. The president serves as chairperson.

②Except as otherwise provided by the Act and this Cabinet Order, the proceedings of a society meeting are decided by a majority of the society meeting members present, and in the case of a tie, the chairperson decides.

③Proceedings on a change to the constitution (excluding a change pertaining to matters specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as referred to in Article 16, paragraph (2) of the Act) are decided by a majority of at least two-thirds of the fixed number of society meeting members.

④A society meeting may adopt resolutions only on the matters notified in advance under Article 8; provided, however, that this does not apply where two-thirds or more of the society meeting members present consent.
