Supplementary Provisions
The law as Cabinet Order Partially Amending the Order for Enforcement of the Health Insurance Act, etc. (Cabinet Order No. 240 of 2026) leaves it, with the words it changes marked.

With regard to the payment of high-cost medical expenses under the provisions of the Health Insurance Act for medical treatment provided during the period from the Effective Date to the day before the item (ii) Effective Date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
施行日から第二号施行日の前日までの間に行われた療養に係る健康保険法の規定による高額療養費の支給については、なお従前の例による。
