Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Consumer Safety Act

①At the time of enforcement of the provisions of Article 2 (excluding the revising provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions; the same applies hereinafter in this Article), a person who actually has experience of engaging in the affairs set forth in Article 8, paragraph (1), item (ii), (a) and (b) or paragraph (2), items (i) and (ii) of the Consumer Safety Act before the revision by the provisions of Article 2, or in other affairs specified by Cabinet Office Order as being equivalent thereto (limited to a person who conforms to the standards specified by Cabinet Office Order as being able to respond appropriately to consultations regarding complaints from Consumers about Enterprises), is deemed to be a person who has passed the qualification examination for Consumer affairs consultants under Article 10-3, paragraph (1) of the Consumer Safety Act after the revision by the provisions of Article 2 (referred to simply as "the Exam" in the following paragraph).
