The provisions of Articles 5 through 10 apply mutatis mutandis to a private lodging manager that runs a private lodging management business in a notified residence for which the private lodging management services have been entrusted. In this case, the term "notified residences and other places specified by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare" in Article 8, paragraph (1) is deemed to be replaced with "the business office or office of the private lodging management business operator", and the term "prefectural governor" is deemed to be replaced with "Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism or prefectural governor".
第五条から第十条までの規定は、住宅宿泊管理業務の委託がされた届出住宅において住宅宿泊管理業を営む住宅宿泊管理業者について準用する。この場合において、第八条第一項中「届出住宅その他の国土交通省令・厚生労働省令で定める場所」とあるのは「当該住宅宿泊管理業者の営業所又は事務所」と、「都道府県知事」とあるのは「国土交通大臣又は都道府県知事」と読み替えるものとする。
