Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 1 year from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して一年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures
第二条（経過措置）
The provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (excluding Article 3-7) do not apply to the jurisdiction and venue of the Japanese courts over an action that is pending at the time this Act comes into effect.
第一条の規定による改正後の民事訴訟法の規定（第三条の七を除く。）は、この法律の施行の際現に係属している訴訟の日本の裁判所の管轄権及び管轄に関しては、適用しない。
The provisions of Article 3-7 of the Code of Civil Procedure as amended by the provisions of Article 1 do not apply to an agreement, made before this Act comes into effect, to the effect that an action may be filed with the courts of a specific country.
第一条の規定による改正後の民事訴訟法第三条の七の規定は、この法律の施行前にした特定の国の裁判所に訴えを提起することができる旨の合意については、適用しない。
