第六条（商号）

A bank must use the characters "銀行" (with a pronunciation of "ginkou" and literally meaning a "bank") in its trade name.

銀行は、その商号中に銀行という文字を使用しなければならない。

A person that is not a bank must not use the characters that indicate them to be a bank in their name or trade name.

銀行でない者は、その名称又は商号中に銀行であることを示す文字を使用してはならない。

A bank must obtain the authorization by the Prime Minister if it seeks to change its trade name.

銀行は、その商号を変更しようとするときは、内閣総理大臣の認可を受けなければならない。
